I love the idea of charging for take out utensils and packaging. Also, it would be ideal for the air and the roads if there were fewer trucks making trips down the same areas. It would help a lot of people if restaurants donated their leftover food

I hate throwing plastic shopping bags (and other film plastics) into my trash, but not retailer makes it convenient to bring them back to their stores for recycling. I would make the effort to recycle them if there was an easier way to do so.

Ban plastic bags. Require shoppers to provide their own bags, or charge enough for store provided bags that it makes an impact. Charge a fee or tax for plastic and aluminum beverage containers. Provide easy access to dispose of hazardous waste.
