Country Meadows Wastewater Treatment Facility - Wastewater Permit
We invite you to comment on the draft wastewater permit for the Country Meadows wastewater treatment facility.
Natural Systems Utilities applied for a reissued water quality permit for the Country Meadows wastewater treatment facility in Livonia Township, Sherburne County. The facility is designed to treat 17,100 gallons per day.
The draft wastewater permit does not include any significant changes from the last permit issued. The MPCA has made a preliminary determination to reissue this SDS permit for a term of approximately 10 years.
Water quality permits establish specific limits and requirements to protect Minnesota's surface and groundwater quality. Permits are regularly reviewed and updated as they expire, allowing the MPCA to incorporate new information about the impacts of pollutants on the environment in future permits. Permits are enforced through a combination of self-reporting and compliance monitoring.
