Dem-Con HZI Bioenergy proposes the construction of an anaerobic digestion facility with a design capacity for two anaerobic digesters to process up to 75,419 short tons per year of organic feedstock materials. The feedstock materials will consist of source-separated organics in durable compostable bags, organic-rich materials, yard waste, and other food waste.
The Environmental Assessment Worksheet is not a decision and does not determine whether the project moves forward. It is an information-gathering document used to inform decision-makers including those issuing land use and environmental permits that are required for the project.
