We invite you to comment on the draft hazardous waste permit for Sofidel America's hazardous waste landfill in Duluth.
Sofidel America has applied for a permit renewal for its hazardous waste landfill, which holds approximately 23,000 cubic yards of waste material, primarily soil and fill from a former scrapyard, railroad ties, and construction debris.
The draft hazardous waste permit authorizes Sofidel America to continue storage of hazardous waste in an on-site closed landfill.
