We invite you to comment on the draft air quality permit for Tiller Corp - Maple Grove Mining & Processing Facility
Tiller Corporation owns and operates the pits and hot mix asphalt plant at the Tiller Maple Grove Facility, a mining and construction sand and gravel processing facility. The facility consists of a sand and gravel spread, recycled concrete and asphalt spread, screening spread, bituminous aggregate spread, and a hot mix asphalt spread.
The draft air permit authorizes replacement of an existing drum dryer with a new drum dryer.
An air quality operating permit is required for certain existing facilities or the construction of new facilities that have the potential to emit a significant level of any regulated pollutant. The permit includes all requirements for operation and procedures, applicable rules, emission standards, monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting. If additional conditions change and modifications are necessary, the MPCA may review and amend the permit.
