Crosslake Roll-Off operates a construction and demolition debris transfer station near Crosby, Minnesota. The facility accepts and stores waste from various sources before transferring it to an appropriate disposal or recycling facility.
The draft permit allows the transfer station to handle 60,000 cubic yards of construction demolition debris per year with a maximum of 1,500 cubic yards on site at any one time. The draft permit also includes requirements related to the management of concrete, metals, appliances, and asphalt shingles.
All active landfills, transfer stations, composting, and recycling facilities in Minnesota are required to have a solid waste permit. A solid waste permit is good for ten (10) years. If conditions change and modifications to the permit are necessary, the MPCA may review and amend the permit.
